Being a TV Presenter was and has always been my biggest goal, the toughest task I’ve taken on and certainly my most memorable. Although I started dabbling as a reporting intern on INTV and then on CNN Arabia where I scored my first celeb interview with Hollywood hottie, George Clooney – after endless castings (and, yes, rejections), Dubai One TV is where I managed to finally launch a career.
I worked on a number of shows as a reporter and guest presenter on Studio One, Out and About and City Wrap where my wacky adventures found me diving with sharks with The Discovery Channel’s “sharkman”, walking on fire, being hypnotized, hanging out with lions and trying my hand at a variety of talents alongside UAE’s greatest athletes, musicians and artists. But perhaps my biggest highlight of all was when I landed a gig presenting on That’s Entertainment and interviewed a ton of A-listers like the Kardashians, Shahrukh Khan, Gerard Butler, even The Jacksons! I also got the awesome opportunity to host live coverage around the world, including the Critic’s Choice Awards and Oscars.
Once I decided to start a family I decided to combine my new adventure into motherhood with a shift to a new adventure in the digital sphere. Months after giving birth, my munchkin joined me as a co-host for the first season of #MommyMaterial. I can honestly say he’s the best co-host I’ve ever had (click here to watch us in action)!
Where I, or we, will go from here… time will tell. But all I know is that it won’t take long for me to find a lens to document it.
